Food investment projects valued at RO 1.6 bn under development in Oman

MUSCAT: In the 6th regular session of the tenth term hosted by Majlis Ash'shura on Thursday, Dr. Saud bin Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, presented an overview of the performance of Oman's food and water security sector, emphasizing its significant contribution to the GDP. Aligned with the objectives of the tenth five-year development plan (2021-2025), the session underscored the ministry's pivotal role in advancing the nation's agricultural wealth, fisheries sectors, and water resources.
