Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has issued a warning for fishermen, seafarers, farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers regarding tropical depression in the southern Arabian Sea. A statement issued online by the Ministry said, "The Ministry calls on fishermen and seafarers to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their boats, ships and equipment, and not to risk going to the sea, as the airspace in the governorates of Al-Wusta and Dhofar is affected by a tropical depression in the southern Arabian Sea.""The Ministry also calls on farmers, livestock breeders and beekeepers to take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety and the safety of their livestock and their beehives, to keep them out of valley streams, and not to leave beehives in low-lying areas as a result of the weather in the governorates of Al-Wusta and Dhofar affected by a tropical depression," the statement added.
