Oman: Muscat Airport invites volunteers for operational readiness test

The Oman Airports authorities invited volunteers among Omani Nationals as well as expatriate residents to take part in the trial at 9:00 am ahead of the planned re-opening of the airport on October 1.Muscat International Airport will be conducting health screening procedures and COVID-19 testing for all arriving passengers when commercial operations resume.A total of 150 volunteers who have registered will undergo the full arrival process including registration, immigration, COVID-19 PCR tests (nasal swabs), and exit through the baggage claim hall.On the same day, the drive-through COVID-19 testing facility will also be tested with the help of a smaller number of volunteers.As part of the trial, the volunteers will receive a free PCR test (worth OMR 25), with the result communicated within 24 hours.
