Bahrain central bank sukuk al-ijara oversubscribed by 675%
Published 09 Jun,2021 via bizbahrain - The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al-Ijara, has been oversubscribed by 675%.
Subscriptions worth BD 175.425 million were received for the BD 26 million issue, which carries a maturity of 182 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins on 10th June 2021 and matures on 9th December 2021, is 1.67% compared to 1.70% of the previous issue on 6th May 2021.
