Hope Ventures launches ‘Wujha’ entrepreneurship training program for Bahraini online businesses

Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, launched its third program of the year tailored specifically for online businesses that have taken the initial steps to launch and establish their businesses on social media channels. Registration for ‘Wujha’ is currently underway, closing on October 24 , with the training bootcamp scheduled to begin in November of this year. ‘Wujha’, meaning destination, symbolizes the program’s aim to guide Bahraini online founders through their entrepreneurial journey to take their businesses to the next level and commercialize their concepts. This 3-week program targets the large segment of entrepreneurs within the Kingdom operating online and social media-based businesses that offer services and products through digital and social networking platforms like Instagram. The bootcamp will provide participants with the knowledge, resources and tools required to enhance their business models and pave a roadmap for commercialising their businesses to allow them to raise equity investment to grow their ventures. Upon completion of the bootcamp, Wujha will provide participants with the opportunity to pitch their ideas to Hope and the private sector for potential equity investment opportunities. Commenting on the program, H.E. Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, Chairman of Hope Fund, Mr. Aymen bin Tawfeeq
