Labour and Social Development Ministry signs four agreements with Private institutions to train Bahrainis

The Ministry of Labour and Social Development Minister has signed four key memoranda of understanding with private institutions to train Bahrainis and hone their skills through the "Opportunity" programme and online workshops. Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan deputized Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs Ahmed Jaffer Al Haiki to seal the deals with officials representing Bapco, Nasser Said Al Hajeri Company, InJaz Bahrain, Excellence Training Solutions and Al Qaoud Entrepreneurship. The ceremony was attended also by Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development Khalid Abdulrahman Isaac Al Kooheji, Training and Manpower Development Director Dr. Isam Ismail Al Alawi and other officials. Under the agreement signed with Babpco and Nasser Said Al Hajeri Company, a batch of jobseekers with be trained on professional safety and health with the "Opportunity" programme. They will paid BD300 during the training programmed and at least BD400 once recruited by the Nasser Said Al Hajeri Company. Al Qaoud Entrepreneurship Company will also provide online training for 500 jobseekers holding different qualifications for eight weeks during the year 2021. As for InJaz Bahrain, it will provide training for 1200 jobseekers free of charge and enhance their employability to suit the needs of the labour market.
