Weekly Cabinet Meeting

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting, held remotely.



At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet recognised the importance of ongoing cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities, noting that effective cooperation between the two branches has ensured citizens' needs are met in the state's general budget for the fiscal years 2021-2022.



On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Cabinet underlined progress made in the political, economic and social lives of Bahraini women as a direct result of ongoing work and initiatives by the Supreme Council for Women, under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women.



The Cabinet welcomed public authority monitoring and auditing of expatriate-workers' accommodation to ensure compliance with COVID-19 safety measures, and directed a review of related regulation.
