Egypt depends on green economy to realize 2030 Vision – Min.

CAIRO - 2 March 2021: Economic Development and Planning Minister Hala el Saeed has emphasized the need to depend on green economy as a top priority for Egypt to realize the 2030 Vision. 



The minister's remarks came during her participation in the 2nd edition of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, which kicked off on Monday under the rubric of "Shaping Africa's New Normal: Recovering Stronger, Rebuilding Better" with the participation of African leaders, senior officials and heads of governments.

 

She reiterated that the State aims to enhance sustainable development and create more jobs through making reforms on fuel pricing and investments in solar energy and wind domains and carrying out projects to convert fuel-powered vehicles into natural gas-powered ones.
