Egypt launches international auction to upgrade Sound & Light facilities at Giza Pyramids

Misr Company for Sound, Light and Tourism Development, a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels that is affiliated to Egypt's Ministry of the Public Business Sector, launched an international auction Tuesday that targets upgrading the Sound & Light facilities of the Giza Pyramids.

The auction winner will be allowed to advance sounds and light facilities at the Giza Pyramids plateau over 15 years “” which can be renewed for an additional 15 years if approval is given “” in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of the Public Business Sector said in a statement.

The auction comes under a programme adopted by the Egyptian government regarding the management of assets and ventures owned by the public business sector and affiliated companies,
