Egypt’s Fayoum to receive LE491.5M in public investments in FY2020/21

CAIRO - 6 January 2021: A Ministry of Planning and Economic Development delegation visited Fayoum Governorate Wednesday to  follow up on governorate-wide development projects set in the fiscal year (FY) 2020/21 investment plan.

 

Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El-Said met with Fayoum Governor Ahmed Al-Ansari and Heba Mugheib, Head of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development's Regional Planning Sector, and their accompanying delegation.

 

During the meeting, the rates of project implementation work under the FY 2020/21 plan were reviewed and discussed. The projects are set to receive investments of about LE LE 491.5 million, which will go towards paving roads, improving the electricity network, strengthening local units, and improving the environment.
