Egypt’s planning ministry releases ‘Citizen Investment Plan’ of Qalyubia in FY2020/21

Qanater Khairiyah in Qalyoubeya governorate - Wikimedia Commons CAIRO - 14 February 2021: Egypt’s Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announced Sunday the features of the “Citizen Investment Plan” in Qalyubia Governorate for FY 20/2021.    Minister Hala El-Said explained that the number of development projects in the governorate amounts to 301 projects and that the value of public investments directed to Qalyubia governorate is LE 9.6 billion, representing 3.6% of the distributed public investments.   Concerning the sectoral distribution of public investments, El-Said indicated that investments amounting to LE 5.5 billion will be directed to the housing sector, representing 57.1% of the budget.
