Lürssen has extensive experience in building naval vessels, from boats to corvettes, frigates and warships, Radi said. El-Sisi and Lürssen discussed cooperation in the field of building ships of various models and the transfer of technology in this field in cooperation with the Egyptian Navy’s arsenals and the companies of the Marine Industries and Services Organisation. They also discussed training Egyptian crews and efforts to improve the capabilities of the Egyptian cadres in accordance with international standards and quality requirements. El-Sisi hailed Egypt’s cooperation with the German company, praising it for its good reputation in shipbuilding.
