Egypt’s trade deficit records $2.28B in July

CAIRO – 1 October 2020: Egypt's trade deficit dipped 51.8 percent during July 2020, recording $2.28 billion, compared to $4.73 billion in the same month of 2019, according to the state's statistics agency CAPMAS.
In its monthly bulletin on foreign trade data, CAPMAS said exports declined 15 percent to reach $2.15 billion in July 2020, compared to $2.53 billion during the same month
