Trade min. says US investments in Egypt hit $21.8 billion

CAIRO - 22 October 2020: Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Gamea has said that the volume of US investments in Egypt currently stands at USD 21.8 billion.

 

Those investments cover the sectors of industry, services, construction, financing, agricultural, tourism, telecommunications and information technology.

 

She went on to say thattrade exchange between Egypt and the US hit USD 8.6 billion in 2019, compared to USD 7.5 billion in 2018.
