When you're selling a product or service, you're likely to hear the word "no" many times before you hear "yes."

Some entrepreneurs turn to aggressive selling tactics like fear, guilt, or desperation, but in the long run, these strategies will only diminish trust and turn off customers to your product or service.

When you pitch your idea, respect your customer's boundaries by using relevant examples that demonstrate value, asking for direct feedback, and ending the interaction on a positive note.
