GCC Welcomes Economic Growth Experienced by Saudi Arabia in Context of Workings of 3rd Review of Trade Policy

The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Chairman of the Council of Ambassadors of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in Geneva, Ambassador Dr. Yousef Abdulkarim Bucheeri, delivered a statement on behalf of GCC states in the context of the workings of the 3rd trade policy review of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the World Trade Organization in Geneva.

In their joint statement, the GCC states welcomed the positive transformations and economic growth that the Kingdom has experienced, particularly in light of its Vision 2030. The GCC states praised the Kingdom's implementation of a number of structural reforms and its progress in improving its investment by opening up new sectors to foreign investment and implementing legal and institutional changes to improve business and facilitate investment.
