COVID-19 infections among students are at ‘normal rate’: Abu Qdais – Roya News English

Sunday, the Minister of Education Muhammad Abu Qdais, congratulated students, parents and educational staff in Jordan for returning to in-person education, stressing that with adherence to the required health protocols and precautionary measures, Jordan will continue with in-person education, and there is no turning back.

In statements to Roya, Abu Qdais said that the percentage of COVID-19 infections among students ages 6-17 reached less than one percent, which is a ‘normal rate.’

He added that this came after the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Ministry of Education conducted random tests on students.
