JCC, ILO launch National Cooperative Strategy

AMMAN "” The Jordan Cooperative Corporation (JCC) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) launched the National Cooperative Strategy for Jordan for 2021-2025 on Saturday, on the occasion of the International Day of Cooperatives.

Agriculture Minister Khalid Hneifat, who deputised for Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh, praised the efforts of all development partners, specifically the ILO and the Dutch government for their financial support, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The minister, also chairman of the JCC, highlighted the need to expand Jordan's cooperative sector due to its important contributions to local community development.
