Ambassador of Tunisia relays to Al-Halabi his country’s approval to provide grants

NNA – Minister of Education Abbas Al-Halabi met with Tunisia’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Boraoui Al-Imam, who handed the Minister of Education a letter informing him of the approval of the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to accept a number of Lebanese students who applied last year to benefit from grants for the academic year 2021-2022, among the grants provided by Tunisia to Lebanon after the port explosion. The said applications are for students pursuing a master’s degree.

Al-Halabi thanked the Tunisian side and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for this generous gift that allows Lebanon and its students the opportunity to benefit from full scholarships, especially in these difficult circumstances, stressing “the depth of historical relations between the two countries.”
