Garlin, who has starred on The Goldbergs since 2013 and is best known for his role as Jeff Greene on Curb Your Enthusiasm, was accused by anonymous staffers of carrying out physical and verbal conduct that made them uncomfortable, according to Vanity Fair, and a show staffer told Deadline that Garlin is "extremely verbally and emotionally abusive." Garlin told Vanity Fair in a December 3 interview he had been the subject of multiple HR investigations in the last three years, and some of the recent allegations stem from an incident with a stand-in in which Garlin said he told a joke "that completely missed" and was "misconstrued"—though staffers told Deadline he screamed "get the f–k out of my way" at the employee.
