ME facilities management sector offers new prospects of growth
The Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA) concluded its CONFEX 2022, the region’s largest facility management (FM) event, on Thursday. The event ended on a high note with industry leaders and experts coming together to identify new opportunities and prospects for the future of the FM industry. The MEFMA CONFEX 2022 took place from March 14 to 17, with the participation of over 500 industry professionals, experts, and government representatives. Engineer Dawood Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, led the inauguration ceremony, which was followed by a series of workshops, presentations, and panel discussions on industry-related topics. The welcome address by Jamal Lootah, Co-founder and President of MEFMA, highlighted the FM market’s potential for rapid growth due to the need for efficiency and cost-effectiveness in operations, and how MEFMA promotes growth through such events. The first day of the event included a series of workshops that presented the latest FM initiatives in digital building and artificial intelligence for the future of FM.
