Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East appoints Martin Schulz as new President & CEO

Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East has appointed Martin Schulz to the position of President & CEO, effective 1 February, 2021.

Martin Schulz takes over from Thomas Klein, who has held the role since July 2019 and led Mercedes-Benz across 13 markets within the Middle East and Levant. Prior to joining Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East, Martin Schulz was CEO of Mercedes-Benz Romania, where he headed Market Operations MBC Eastern and Central Europe (MBCEE) since 2019.

As CEO of Mercedes-Benz Romania, Martin Schulz oversaw the amalgamation of the Hungary, Slovakia and Romania markets into one regional organisation and the establishment of a Centre of Competence in Romania.

Martin Schulz's new position marks his return to the UAE, having previously worked as Assistant Sales Manager at Mercedes-Benz
