College of Pharmacy signs MoU with Novartis Pharma Services

Muscat: The College of Pharmacy at the National University of Science and Technology signed a memorandum of understanding with Novartis Pharma Services with approval from Ministry of Health Directorate of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drug Control. This collaboration aims to: • Enhance graduate skills levels and ensure a smooth and effective transition between university and business environments; • Increase opportunities for students to acquire relevant work experience during their studies, including internships, work based practice programs; • Strengthen the partnership between MoH, College of Pharmacy, and Novartis reflecting the level of commitment of Novartis towards the Sultanate and its patients. This MoU will include: • Establishment of a Graduate Programfor College of Pharmacy graduates. The participants will be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with professionals and gaining first-hand experience of Novartis business and products while building functional and management skills as well as on-the-job learning.
