MMG’s Shabiba FM to air economic awareness radio programme

The agreement was signed at Al Shabiba Radio headquarters in Al Khuwair by Dr. Khalid bin Said Al Ameri, Chairman of the Omani Economic Association (OEA) on behalf of OEA, and on behalf of Muscat Media Galaxy by its Vice Chairman, Ahmed bin Essa Al Zedjali.Muscat: A new programme aiming  to spread economic awareness will be broadcast on Shabiba FM from February onwards.The programme, called ‘Al Majlis Al Iqtisadi', will be run in partnership with the Omani Economic Association following the signing of an agreement on 26 January.The agreement will set up a constructive partnership and initiative to generate interest in economic affairs from the public, through dissemination of related material among them. The agreement comes within the strategy of the Omani Economic Association, which aims to enhance its presence in the media.The partnership involves the production of a weekly one–hour audio-visual radio programme on local economic issues. As part of this association, Al Shabiba Radio will also conduct media coverage of some activities of the Omani Economic Association, and the broadcast of the same via social media.The agreement was signed at Al Shabiba Radio headquarters in Al Khuwair by Dr. Khalid bin Said Al Ameri, Chairman of the Omani
