MoCIIP to launch investment opportunities in industrial sector I Times of Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) will launch, on Monday, the second package of investment opportunity in the industrial sector, which will contribute to attracting investments to the Sultanate of Oman. Oman News Agency said: "These opportunities come within the Ministry's plans to develop the industrial sector by creating new economically feasible opportunities that help expand and diversify industrial facilities across the Sultanate of Oman." MoCIIP also launched the Fast Track Initiative, which aims, in its first phase, to complete 39 investment projects. The initiative is one of the main initiatives of the "Invest in Oman" programme. The ministry added: "The initiative includes forming a specialised team to study projects with various stakeholders, targeting 39 investment projects in the first phase, and aim to completing the executive position of 27 investment projects at 100 per cent, improving the business environment and bringing more foreign investments to the Sultanate, and identifying and presenting a number of ready investment opportunities and promoted it locally and internationally."
