Oman wins UN membership of Economic and Social Council | Times of Oman

Muscat: Oman has won the membership of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations by majority of votes of the members. Oman TV said: "The Sultanate wins membership of the United Nations Economic and Social Council for the period from 2022-2024 with the support and votes of the majority of member states, during the elections held on Monday, June 7, 2021 in the United Nations General Assembly."
