1500 children in the country benefit from Qatar Charity’s ‘… – MENAFN.COM

(MENAFN - Gulf Times) Qatar Charity (QC) implemented the 'Eidiya' (Eid Gifts) project to share the joy of the blessed Eid with 1, 500 orphans and children from low-income families in Qatar. The 'Eid Gifts' project benefited 441 orphans sponsored by QC in Qatar under the umbrella of 'Future's Leaders', and 1, 059 children from low-income families. QC deposited money in their bank accounts to help them buy their supplies before Eid al-Adha. The project was implemented in conjunction with the blessed Eid al-Adha, to bring joy and happiness to beneficiaries and their families on this joyous occasion and promote solidarity, mutuality, and mercy. Traditionally, QC has been implementing this project annually on the occasions of Eid to share the joy of Eid with children. QC expressed its sincere thanks and gratitude to all the philanthropists in Qatar, who supported its projects to share the joy of Eid with orphans and children from families with limited income in the country, achieve social solidarity, and promote the values of giving. QC also implemented several cultural and awareness-raising events and activities for families and their children. The events coincided with the advent of Dhul-Hijjah, the twelfth and final month in the Islamic
