The Saudi government stressed on Tuesday the Kingdom’s complete solidarity with Jordan in wake of the recent royal feud. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz chaired the cabinet meeting that was held virtually from Neom amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The cabinet underscored King Salman’s telephone call with Jordan’s King Abdullah II during which he extended his full support for all the measures he and his crown prince take to preserve Jordan’s security and stability. The ministers reviewed the consultations and talks held in recent days between Saudi Arabia and several friendly nations over the latest regional and international developments and the Kingdom’s declaration of the Green Middle East Initiative. The cabinet highlighted the official talks held between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, last week with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi during his official visit to the Kingdom.
