Sustainability expert Burak Cakmak appointed CEO of Saudi Fashion Commission

Riyadh – The Fashion Commission has today announced the appointment of Burak Cakmak as CEO. A preeminent name in the fashion industry, Cakmak will lead the Commission’s efforts to elevate the Saudi fashion sector as it seeks to preserve the Kingdom’s rich fashion heritage and empower domestic talent.  Today’s announcement comes as the Ministry of Culture works to implement the Saudi National Culture Strategy, a key pillar in the delivery of the Kingdom’s transformation plan, Vision 2030.Cakmak holds a joint MBA degree from Ceram Business School and San Francisco State University.
