Grundfos showcases energy-efficient pumping at Retrofit Tech MENA Summit – MEP MiddleEast

Grundfos, the world's leader in water and climate solutions, gave a deep dive into cutting-edge pumping solutions that could provide energy savings of over 50% to 450 industry professionals at the sixth Retrofit Tech MENA Summit in Dubai.

The two-day event, hosted and endorsed by Etihad Energy Services and Dubai Carbon, is the leading platform for energy efficiency, sustainability and retrofit projects in the region. The prestigious annual gathering of industry leaders provides a platform for ESCOs and technology providers to showcase innovative solutions and offers insight into UAE and MENA region projects.

Leveraging Grundfos' status as the event's Energy Check partner, members of the Grundfos Commercial Building Services team showcased Distributed Pumping, the brand's newest energy-efficient solution for chilled water systems, a progressive technological shift that replaces traditional balance and control valves with intelligent pumps to improve Delta T and reduce pump energy needs.

The lead business development manager at Grundfos, Ronak Monga, delivered a session titled ‘Distributed Pumping in HVAC - A New Revolutionary Approach to Energy Efficiency', supplemented by several case studies around the world, particularly the mixed-use Block 22 building at Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore, which reduced pump energy costs by 54% using Grundfos Distributed Pumping.
