Lulu partners with SirajPower for 1 MWp solar carport installation

Lulu Group has partnered with SirajPower to design, build, fully finance, operate, and maintain a 1 MWp solar carport installation and four Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations for Lulu's Dubai Silicon Central Hypermarket. Spanning over 7,209 sqm, the solar carport will generate 1.7 GWh of clean energy annually to offset over 1,205 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions, according to a press release on Monday. Lulu Group’s brand-new Silicon Central covers a gross leasable area (GLA) of 78,500 square metres of retail, food and beverages, and cinemas, including a Lulu hypermarket and department store spanning 16,800 sqm.
