DFM gains 20 pts on Wednesday

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday's trading session in the green territory after gaining 0.91% or 20.57 points to settle at 2,273.48 points.





A total of 300.87 million shares were traded through 3,903 transactions valued at AED 267.89 million.





The market cap value rose by AED 2.67 billion to AED 317.03 billion, compared to AED 314.36 billion during the previous session.





Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) led the green zone with 11.65%, while Ithmaar Holding topped the red zone with 4.92%.





Emirates NBD came on top of the rising blue chips with 3.39%, while Emaar Properties headed the losing blue chips with 0.71%.
