Dubai Economy, Zoho partnership supports 500 businesses in Dubai

Over 500 businesses in Dubai have benefitted from the partnership between Dubai Economy and Zoho, a global technology company providing business software applications, the Business Registration & Licensing (BRL) sector of Dubai Economy announced.

In October 2020, Dubai Economy and Zoho inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enable companies registered with Dubai Economy to handle their sales, finance, IT, and other business functions through the Zoho One suite of apps.

With 45 applications, Zoho One is a unified cloud-based suite that provides businesses with various functions, including finance and accounting, productivity and collaboration, HR management, custom solutions, and AI.

The partnership with Zoho, which moved its MEA headquarters to Dubai Internet City in March 2020, also supports the companies in their digital transformation.

The Director of Development and Follow-up Division in the BRL sector of Dubai Economy, Omar Al Mehairi, commented: "By lowering the entry-barrier businesses face when adopting technology, we help in creating an ecosystem that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship in the country."
