Sharjah announces new Dhs512m economic stimulus package

The Sharjah government approved a new Dhs512m stimulus package on Tuesday, November 3, to counter the economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is its second economic incentive, following a Dhs481m package which was announced earlier this year.

The new package which was approved by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council, includes incentives to support the government and private entities, businesses and individuals, boost business continuity and mitigate the overall economic impact of Covid-19 outbreak.
