UAE’s federal entities record AED 9.75bn budget surplus in Q2-20

UAE - Mubasher: The budget surplus of the UAE's federal entities amounted to around AED 9.75 billion in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, up from a surplus of AED 1.8 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The total value of the federal entities' expenditure reached AED 24.997 billion in Q2-20, while the total value of revenues recorded AED 34.744 billion, as shown by the financial performance report on the implementation of the general budget of the federal agencies.

Meanwhile, the revenues of the UAE Ministry of Finance registered AED 19.451 billion in Q2-20, accounting for around 56% of the federal ministries' total revenues.
