Athena Center for Special Needs Education receives licensing from MLSD

Athena Center, a premiere Center that provides programs to special needs (aging 2 to 45 years old), announced receiving its license from the Ministry of Labour and Social Development (MLSD) to offer multi-disciplinary programs suitable for different age groups. The Center has state of the art amenities in the heart of Manama, providing a specialised and unique supportive learning environment for all its special needs individuals. Ms. Jalila AlSayed, Director of Rehabilitation Department at MLSD, said, “We are pleased to have Athena Center added to the approved list of special needs centers in Bahrain. Today people are more aware of what special needs offerings are, which has increased the demand in having more qualified centers providing different services under one roof. Having Athena with this capacity and serving different age groups will be a great addition to accommodate more individuals with special needs.
