In-person studying to be suspended for three weeks, starting from Jan. 31 | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

The Ministry of Education has announced that in-person studying will be suspended at public and private schools, kindergartens and higher education institutions for three weeks, starting from January 31.

In a statement, the Public Relations and Media Directorate at the Ministry of Education also said that studying will be online during the same period.

The move is due to the developments and information that are studied periodically, and based on the recommendations of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19), the statement said.

The directorate added that the administrative, teaching and technical staff at all educational institutions will be exempted from the decision.
