Royal University for Women launches new cutting-edge programme | THE DAILY TRIBUNE | KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN

The Royal University for Women (RUW), a leading higher education institution in Bahrain dedicated to women’s advancement, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new cutting-edge programme, Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and Interactive Technology. The programme will commence in September 2022, and admission is now open for the first semester of academic year 2022-2023. The Programme Coordinator, Dr Humam Elagha, expressed his pride in launching this unique programme and one of a kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The programme is aligned with Bahrain’s National Development Strategy “Bahrain Vision 2030” to equip students with relevant knowledge and expertise and help them acquire the skills of the future. It is a commitment of the University to develop the skills needed by the market by providing specialists in Digital Media and Interactive Technologies to Bahrain, the GCC, and international markets. Dr Elagha added that the programme duration is 4 academic years and has 132 credits. The programme aims at preparing graduates to fulfill immediate market needs in interactive multimedia, web design and development, mobile app design, digital video, 2D/3D animation, virtual reality, game design, social media, digital marketing, and user experience and interaction.
