CAIRO – 12 May 2021: On May 12, many important events took place. 1908 - The Egyptian School of Fine Arts opens in Cairo, with Mahmoud Mukhtar being the first to enroll in it. 1919 - Egyptian leader Saad Zaghloul sends a protest note to the peace conference held in Paris after the First World War.
