Middle East News: Jordanian mother-of-six graduates from university on the same day as her son – Gulf Digital News

After dropping out of high school at the age of 15, a Jordanian woman has finally achieved her dream of becoming a university graduate. And to make the occasion more special, Samira Nuseirat graduated on the same day and with the same major as her son.

While most kids her age were going to school, Samira had to drop out. But she never gave up on her dream, and after giving birth to six children Samira decided to try her hand at it once again.

She started high school once again with her son, before going on to study at Yarmouk University. She recently completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the field of Educational Administration which is the same major as her son too.

Samira told Sky News Arabia, "I studied with my son on the same major and the same subjects and we met in a number of lectures with each other, and university life was very beautiful."

Both mother and son now are hoping to continue their studies and obtain PhDs together too.
