Qatar University announces precautionary measures for Class of 2022 Graduation Ceremony – The Peninsula

Doha: In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Health, Qatar University (QU) announces updates to its procedures for attending Class of 2022 graduation ceremonies for graduates, their families and organizers.

Attendees who display a gold frame or recovered status on their Ehteraz application, will not be required to undergo a rapid antigen test (RAT). Individuals who do not have a gold frame or recovered status, must take a RAT test within 48 hours prior to the ceremony and present the certificate with a negative result.

The Ehteraz or RAT test will be checked on entry to the graduation hall.

At the request of graduates and their families, QU has recently announced it will increase the number of invitation cards for each graduate, which is in line with the directives of the Ministry of Health. Class of 2022 graduates will each be allowed four invitation cards to attend the ceremony. QU will be taking active safety measures during the ceremony to ensure the safety of all.
