Top university for humanities in UAE to offer bachelor’s degree in tolerance and coexistence
The Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities in Abu Dhabi has launched the world's first degree in tolerance and coexistence.
Students who pursue the bachelor's degree course will be taught and equipped with academic knowledge and practical skills that will help them spread a culture of tolerance and coexistence.
It includes modules that promote these values, the role of media in encouraging a cohesive society, comparative religion and Islam.
"Education plays a clear role in fostering the values that create harmony between societies,” said Dr Khaled Salem Al Dhaheri, the chancellor of the university.
