Sharjah private schools extend distance learning for another two weeks

Sharjah has directed all private schools in the emirate to continue their distance learning programmes for another two weeks beginning Sunday, September 13, until Thursday, September 24.

The directive is applicable for students in all grades and the decision was reached by Sharjah's Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Team and the Sharjah Private Education Authority, reported official news agency WAM.

At the start of the academic year last week, the officials had mandated that all private schools within the emirate institute a 100 per cent distance learning model for the first two weeks of its reopening.
