Egypt, GIZ agree to finance 11 Projects worth €132.8M

CAIRO - 16 November 2020:Ministry of International Cooperation and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) agreed to finance 11 new projects worth €132.8 million for 2021.

 

This came during the bilateral round of talks, which was held this November virtually between the Egyptian and German governments, headed by  Mona Ahmed, First Under-Secretary of the Ministry of International Cooperation, and Bernd Dönslav, Director-General for the Middle East at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, in the presence of  Sherihan Bakhit, Assistant Minister of International Cooperation, and  Bahaa Al-Raidi, Advisor to the Minister of International Cooperation, with the participation of 41 representatives from Egyptian ministries and government agencies, and 31 representatives from German governmental and development institutions.
