Arabtec requests OGM to cancel decision on company’s non-continuity

Dubai - Mubasher: Arabtec Holding has requested shareholders to consider the cancellation of the decision made by the ordinary general meeting (OGM) on 30 September to dissolve the company and authorise the board to proceed with a bankruptcy and liquidation filing.





This announcement was made upon the request of shareholders representing over 5% of the capital for the company's continuity and restructuring, according to the company's disclosure to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday.





The company's shareholders are scheduled to meet at an ordinary general meeting (OGM) on 30 November 2020.





It is noteworthy to mention that on 1 October 2020, the company announced that its shareholders have voted for the company's non-continuity and dissolution due to its unstable financial conditions
