Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.85% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the were Leumi (TASE:), which rose 2.74% or 63 points to trade at 2364 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:) added 2.51% or 56 points to end at 2289 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.47% or 134 points to 5549 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:), which fell 1.88% or 24 points to trade at 1251 at the close.
Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.51% or 5.3 points to end at 345.6 and Nova (TASE:) was down 1.14% or 350 points to 30420.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 317 to 143 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leumi (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.74% or 63 to 2364. Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.51%
