MSM index ends higher marginally

Muscat: Oman's benchmark MSM 30 Index rose by 10.3 points to close at 3,607.58, representing a gain of 0.285 per cent compared to the last trading session, at the end of the trading session on Tuesday.The total value of traded securities reached OMR1.026 million, a decline of 49.1 per cent compared to the last trading session which was reported at OMR2.003 million.The market capitalisation increased by 0.125 per cent reaching around OMR20.11 billion compared to last trading day.It is worth mentioning that the value of shares bought by non-Omanis investors reached OMR347,000, while the value of shares sold by non-Omanis investors touched OMR534,000.The net foreign investment in the stock market declined to OMR187,000.
