Oman’s share index ends marginally lower

Muscat: The MSM index closed at 3,677.77 points, down 0.18 per cent from the previous close.The Sharia Index ended down 0.20 per cent at 518.34 points. Al Madina Investment, up 4.35 per cent was the top gainer while Al Omaniya Financial, down 3.85 per cent, was the top loser. Al Anwar Ceramic was the most active in terms of the number of shares traded and Renaissance Service was the most active in terms of turnover.A total number of 271 trades were executed during the day's trading session, generating a turnover of OMR0.4 million, with more than 2.4 million shares changing hands. Out of 30 traded stocks, 5 advanced, 10 declined and 15 remained unchanged. At the session close, foreign investors were net sellers
