UAE stock markets close Tuesday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.09% or 2.47 points to close Tuesday at 2,701.15 points.

A total of 367.13 million shares were traded through 4,671 transactions valued at AED 372.87 million.

The market cap value decreased by AED 210 million to AED 357.67 billion, compared to AED 357.88 billion during the previous session.

Gulf Navigation Holding headed the rising stocks with 5.06%, while Al Salam Bank - Sudan topped the losing stocks with 4.73%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by around 0.39% to settle at 5,258.16 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 482.98 million after 107.03 million shares had been exchanged through 3,039 transactions.

Agthia Group came on top of the green zone with 6.71%, while Abu Dhabi National Insurance Co (ADNIC) led the red zone with 4.95%.
