UAE stock markets close Tuesday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have witnessed upward performance by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.81% to close Tuesday's trading session at 2,480.79 points.

A total of 311.48 million shares were traded through 4,650 transactions valued at AED 357.51 million.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.69 billion to AED 339.32 billion, compared to AED 337.63 billion during the previous session.

BH Mubasher led the rising stocks with 14.92%, while Damac Properties topped the losing stocks with 4.61%.

Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 101.77 million shares, while Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 100.78 million.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by 0.72% to settle at 5,109.61 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 66.387 million after 11.064 million shares had exchanged traded through 2,350 transactions.

The market cap value increased by AED 13.42 billion to AED 734.56 billion, compared to AED 721.14 billion during the previous session.
